#BeerFlights! Beer Flight Recipe for #feBREWary Week 2
Flights with a winter cold curing feel!
Laughing Demons know that an awesome craft beer list can make or break food lover and beer flight lover experience. We scour the region for the best and most unique options for our beer flights and food pairings. Last week we introduced Flying Monkey Brewery to our line up and they’ve been a real hit, and we’ve been running through kegs far faster than expected!
We have a lot of fun doing this — and trust us — there is ALWAYS another awesome one-off waiting in the wings 🙂 This week we’ve crafted a beer flight mix to bust the cold snap blues. Come on by and give it a try!
This Week’s #CraftBeer in Review
INNOCENTE Brewery's Drunkard’s Cloak Saison • Pinot Noir Barrel Aged Saison/Farmhouse • 9.5V/13 IBU
A strong saison aged in red wine barrels. Great integration of pineapple & white pepper notes from the saison, and red wine, black currant and oak notes from the barrel, with a pokey and pleasant acidity in the finish. A real study in contrasts. Visit Innocente Brewers
ROYAL CITY Brewery's • Bamberg Smoked Lager • 5.1V/17 IBU
Rich and aromatic with malts and light smoke. Unique flavour follows aroma – malty, light smokiness, woody with a clean finish. A nice smoked lager where the smoke is very subdued, but certainly not in your face. Visit Royal City Brewers for craft beer recipes that kick winter's butt
LAKE OF BAYS Brewery • Rock Cut Baysville Lager • 4.2% ABV
Bubbly tongue-tickling, clean, crisp and refreshing with a subtle note of German noble hops and Canadian malt. Awesome choice for beer drinkers new to the craft beer culture, and has a nice way of resetting the palate while experimenting with craft beer flights. Visit Lake of Bays Brewers
WELLINGTON Brewery • Terrestrial India Brown Ale • 5.9V/57 IBU
A heavily fortified imperial brown ale with an astonishing profusion of american hops. More than enough bitterness to satisfy the most discerning hop-heads.
Visit Wellington Brewers
FLYING MONKEYS • The Tribe - Coconut Stout • 6.3% ABV/30 IBU
This incredible Coconut Stout weighs in at at 6.30 ABV/30 IBU and is a rich and silky experience that screams comfort. Think chocolate macaroons — not so crunchy and an awesome pairing with meat and game …. Visit Flying Monkey's Brewers
